Jess (she/her) brings her theatrical sensibilities, honed through a decade in the Chicago theatre scene, to the architectural lighting world. She now employs her keen eye for constructing a narrative and her ability to manipulate light to dazzling emotional effect to enhance the visitor experience at museums and others spaces.
Her passion is for constructing innovative, multi-layered designs that spread joy, immerse audiences in new environments, and advance her craft in the digital age. Her art enhances the visitor experience in museums and architectural spaces while considering the design’s online presence and marketability. Her mission is to stay at the forefront of her field and discover new ways lighting can spark wonder around the world. Her recent projects include museums, experiences, media studios, multi-residence, office campuses, and hospitality.
She graduated with her MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University, where she received the John Williams Lighting Design Award. Jessica exhibited at the Young Designer's Forum at the 2015 USITT Conference and at the Prague Quadrennial 2015 in the United States student exhibit.
